Client wants to add wireless printer to their small home network. Unfortunately, there was no installation/software CD to make this work easier. So, I have to resort to the manufacturer's site for support.
Printer:
HP Deskjet 3050 J610 Series
Work Summary:
View link below, choose proper OS for the system and download the driver/product installation software.
Once download is completed, RUN the file and follow instruction to begin the printer setup. You will start with the screen as follow. Make sure the printer is plug into the computer via USP port.
Select, Ethernet/Wireless network and click next to proceed forward. Once setup is completed, an IP will assign to the printer and click FINISH to end.
Disconnect USP cable from computer and test printer's wireless connection by printing a test page. Again, more info on the above link if there is any confusion/question.
As for this client, the printer installation completed sucessfully with wireless connection tested good and printing fine.
